A really nice piece of furniture.
This is a Better Homes and Gardens Langley Bay TV Stand for tv's up to 60 inches. This one is a gray/Sonoma Oak. This tv stand arrived needing to be assembled. The instructions recommend 2 people to put it together, but one person can assemble it. I did. It will take longer, it took me a couple hours. It wasn't hard to do. I started by locating and identifying all the parts and started to put them together. The instructions was pretty clear and easy to understand. When I got it all put together, it measured 26.8 inches high x 53.5 inches wide x17 inches deep. It will hold a tv up to 60 inches and 95 pounds. This is a very solid piece of furniture. It has 2 doors in the front that hide 2 large storage places. They will each hold 30 lbs of your entertainment equipment. Above these storage shelves are 2 smaller open shelves. These shelves will each hold 20 lbs. The open shelves will hold your cable boxes, dvd players ect. All the storage spaces come with a hole for all your cords and cables. This stand is painted a warm shade of gray finish. The top has a distressed wood grain look. I would recommend putting the hinges on the doors first and then attaching them to the stand. If you attach the hings to the stand first they wont close right.

Great Cabinet For a Lot of Different Uses!
I really love this Better Homes and Gardens Langley Bay TV stand! I needed a cabinet to hold my DVD's and this was exactly what I was looking for. The box it comes in is very heavy so you might need 2 people to move it to the room you want it in. I have put together a lot of furniture kits but when I saw the manual (and it is a very thorough manual with a lot of illustrations) I thought I might not be able to do it so I asked my cousin to put it together for me. The instructions say that you need 2 people but he easily assembled it by himself. The cabinet pieces are very well protected with a lot of foam surrounding them in the box. It took a little over 2 hours but my cousin is a perfectionist and he did put it perfectly together! He had a little problem with the door on the right side. There was a broken piece of wood that is used to hold the door on and he had to drill a new hole and find a larger screw to fit. The door is a tiny bit loose which really bothered him but it isn't a problem for me. He used a rubber mallet instead of a hammer which protected the wood better. I am so happy with the dove gray color! My cousin was really impressed with the quality of the wood (he is a carpenter) and how well it was made. He said that the way they designed it makes it easy to disassemble if you want to do that if you are moving. The bottom areas are very big behind the doors and I was able to set my plastic drawers that I have been using to hold my DVD's straight into them. 2 drawers in each side. I was then able to put 4 more drawers in the open shelves on top. I plan to cover the front of the plastic containers so that they will look like canvas baskets! I have a TV stand so I am putting family photo's on top. It looks so elegant!!! The doors are very long so you will need to keep the area in front of them clear for about 2' or be able to move any furniture that needs to be closer. I can easily slide my chair over when I need to get into the drawer on the right side. I would recommend this cabinet to anyone looking for a beautiful TV stand that has plenty of room for a 60" TV and a lot of DVD's! It is also a great cabinet if you don't need it for your TV. It's a quality piece of furniture that I know I will have for a very long time.

Elegant, Sturdy and Strong
This is strong, well designed tv stand that can take a lot of weight, it took us almost 3 hours to put together. The pieces are thick and sturdy and strong you will need a bottle of wood glue but there are lots of latches that need to be screwed in and pieced together to make sure it gets put together right. Additionally, because the pieces of wood are heavy and strong you may need a second person helping you many of them will need to be lifted into place. It is a heavy piece of furniture that will hold tv's up to 60 inches with two very generous cabinets underneath. This tv stand has a satin finish the sides and cabinets are a satin light gray/steel blue finish. The top and inside portions of the cabinet have a type of beachy driftwood look going on, it is very light and airy. It is quite spacious inside and there is plenty of space for electronics as well items that do not need to be covered or need to be out to access remotely and you can push them back far enough away from the front so that little hands don't have access if you need to. I suppose that is the only complaint I have with this unit that the cabinet latches themselves are so far apart you cannot string a child lock on them. All in all we were able to get it assembled in under 5 hours and still have plenty of space left over for items inside. We had space for our fire tv's, blue ray, tons of cd's and still have space left over. There are holes at the back of the unit to allow for wiring two of them so you don't have to drill any holes. It has a every elegant and contemporary look and we love it, its clean and crisp and spacious. This tv stand is so sturdy we have no doubt putting it together that it will last many years, its a great piece of furniture.

Doesn't look cheap
Looks great, however is more of a purple grey rather than the blue grey table I was hoping to match as seen in the photo I took for reference.... Hopefully that helps

Better Homes and Gardens Langley Bay TV Stand
This TV stand is huge and heavy. It took a bit to get it together, considering I managed to get a couple of pieces backwards. All in all, by the time we finished putting it together and seeing all the room the stand has, I was quite pleased with it.
The stand is very heavy, but the pieces are made of good materials.
The shelves below the TV are big enough to fit a VCR on one shelf and a DVD on the other side.
The compartments where the doors go on at the bottom is so roomy, you wouldn't think by looking at the picture that it has that much room. But the cabinets behind the door give you a lot of room to put your DVD's, VCR tapes, and CD's, if you have a small TV, you might actually have room for a small stereo or boom box on the top.
As you can see in the picture only one door is put on mine. I choose to leave one door off of it for now.
The top shelve and the middle shelve kind of have a marbled wood grain look to it. The bottom shelf and the doors and the sides are a slate or flat gray.
It was so much bigger than I imagined. I am happy with it. It is heavy do not try to even lift or move it alone. The warning label that goes on it, tells you not to exceed the weight limit or you can ruin in, or cause harm or injury to a person.
I am enjoying mine. I definitely feel this TV stand rates a 10 in my opinion. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to family or friend.
