It'll do.
Have been using this for a couple of weeks now & so far so good. It supports my tv fine. Its a little wobbly but doesn't seem to be a risk.
I purchased this because it claimed "no tools" required which would've been perfect because I was in the process of moving. But it required a screwdriver.
Word of caution, the cabinet doors are plastic which I wasn't aware of from the pictures online (see my picture).
Not exactly sure what makes this a gender specific tv stand.

Don't waste your money
I ordered this after reading reviews....needed something tall. They claim this is heavy duty, when the truth is, it's a waste of money. First, a lot of the pieces were cracked. After putting it together anyway, it's very flimsy, the plastic doors are sad, overall not worth it. Only allowed 2 pictures or I could've given more detail.

Nice TV stand
We bought this for our bedroom and works out great. Lots of storage space and shelves. Sits up high so you can see the TV better. Would recommend this product and very easy to put together.

My new tall tv stand
It was hard to find a tv stand this tall. I found a few media chest at furniture stores, but I didn't want to pay $300 for them. Also, they didn't have as much storage space for my games and dvd's. A small part was missing when it arrived, but customer service was good. I sent an email and received my replacement part in 3 days. It does come with plastic doors. It's not an issue since it lives in my bedroom, but I figure it's worth noting.
