Vasari Flat Panel LED Corner TV Console, Black
This is a solid TV console and when assembled it looks nice and well made. EXCEPT one thing > that there is a brace of unfinished press-board that for some reasons HAS NOT been painted (finished) in black.
It’s identify in the assembly instructions booklet as cabinet Part C10 > unfinished Rear stabilizer. This so called ‘stabilizer’ is not located as mentioned in the booklet in the REAR of the cabinet but rather toward the FRONT.
When sitting at eye level and/or looking away from the cabinet you can see this ugly piece of unfinished press-board. I have seen similar comments made by others (on here) and those dated back since November of 2013. Is the manufacturer reads customer’s reviews/comments? APPARENTLY NOT !
I called PREPAC (the cabinet maker) in British Columbia, Canada to complaint about it. There was nothing they could do about except to relay my concern to their engineers.
To resolve my issue, I’ll need to paint (in black) this piece of press-board. I’m disappointed as I don’t think I should be messing up painting something that should have been done in the first place by the manufacturer.

Excellent Value - Fits Perfectly
I ordered this stand for my mother-in-law's new 50 inch TV. The corner it needed to fit into was shallow, with a doorway on one side and a window sill on the other. It fit perfectly, and the TV clears both the door and the window, allowing for drapes. I was concerned about the contemporary style of the unit, because my mom-in-law's furniture is very traditional and fussy. However, the stand is so basic that it goes with anything! Also, as others have pointed out, the finished product looks much more expensive than its pricetag. My husband, who doesn't follow written directions too easily, put it together for his mom, but it took him a few hours. I suspect that others might not require as much time. I also read buyer reviews that talked about the unpainted piece with this unit, but in our case, it is not visible at all. I figured if it was, I could always spray paint the part before assembling it. The finished product looks just like its picture, and I highly recommend it.

Perfect form and function
Very pleased - looks perfect and "performs" perfectly. A little awkward for a 70+ year old man to assemble but excellent value and delivered when promised.
