Good, inexpensive stand

This mainstays was pretty easy to assemble, it's inexpensive compared to other stands, and looks good. I've got a 32" LCD TV on it that fits very well. It could handle Little larger set, probably. Looks good with the 32". Wish they had a white one to use in another room!

Excellent Price & Product

It took about thirty minutes to assemble. I used nothing more than a screwdriver for everything. Sauder (the manufacturing company) is a good company to buy from. I purchase a lot of their products under different name brands (Mainstays, Ameriwood, etc.) - even if you get a part that is missing, cracked, or even you yourself broke assembling - they will replace it for free, shipping is UPS and comes within a week.

As for the TV stand itself, it goes with my decor. I have the Mainstays black oak computer desk, and the Mainstays bookcase, coffee table and end table. Made out of real wood, very sturdy (I was surprise of the firmness, usually inexpensive products are wobbly) - I use it for a LCD TV, it probably won't support older TVs unless it's a small one... or you can use it as a coffee table. It's very attractive, and if you didn't want to put a TV on it, it makes for a very lovely coffee table as well (you can put magazines and stuff on the bottom shelf of the stand if it's a coffee table).

Best TV stand you will find

1. The box said "Made in the U.S.A." much to my surprise. If that isn't a reason to buy it, nothing is!
2. Easy to assemble. Took about 30 minutes from opening the box to putting my TV on it. Simple screwdriver assembly and instructions walk you along perfectly.
3. Wish it came in other colors like walnut or oak but the black does look really nice and will probably fit in to any decor and color scheme in a home.
4. Paid 25 dollars for it tax and all. Unfortunately, the local WalMart had it stocked in a slot that said 39. I figure a lot of people have skipped over it. I know I had for the past month or so.
5. Size was tad larger than I expected. But it fits into a smaller bedroom just right. Bottom shelf is great for video game systems or DVD players because of the open airflow and size of the shelf.

Overall, this product is great and Made in the U.S.A. If you can find one at your local store, you can't go wrong with this product!

Very Bad Buy

When buying this table, we just needed something quick for our 32' bedroom TV. We didn't need anything too nice or high quality, but rather just something that would get the job done in our little, homey apartment's bedroom. When we started to build, we realized that almost all of the holes were not I the correct spots, making it nearly impossible for the table to be put together. We had to drill our own holes and basically, make the table on our own. What we needed was a quick project, not something that we had to spread over three days. When we were putting it together, it was not stable. Box said "good for 37 inch television" but honestly, I don't know, at first, if it would have even held up a fruit bowl; super unstable. After use of our screws, all new holes and some super glue, we finally got it together. It was not worth the buy and I can't understand how it has so many good reviews. It wasn't what we expected, nor something easy to put together. In fact, it was the opposite. Buyers, beware!
