Love the look and the convenient drawers
Love the look, love the color and love the drawers but wish that either the compartments for other equipment weren't so tall or that the holes in the back of the compartment openings were a bit lower down because you can see the cords above the components running through the hole in the back.
Maybe they designed it thinking of way back when components were taller/larger and would cover up the hole in the back BUT now-days things like cable boxes etc are streamlined and much slimmer.
I solved part of the problem by raising my components by putting something underneath them but a person shouldn't have to do that :(

Lovely Look
I chose this unit for its shape/size/style/colour and am very glad that I did. The colour matched very well to what I saw on my screen, and I like that there is a bit of a wood grain texture. The drawers were not as large as I anticipated, although I blame myself for not measuring/visualizing properly because it's all right there upfront to see. I had originally planned to store away old board games in the drawers but they won't fit properly, so I opted to store away old childhood VHS tapes - which they fit but it is not a very efficient use of the space as some tapes have to be put in at different angles than others. If you did want to store VHS tapes or DVDs in the drawers I think the version of this entertainment unit that has the 4-drawer option instead of the 3-drawer option like this one would be better suited use of the space. Assembly was straightforward - it took me about 3-4 hours from the time I opened the box to the time I was placing my TV on it - although I am meticulous and was doing it at a leisurely place by myself. The unit appears like good quality for the price, and I think the price is very reasonable for the higher end style that it is mimicking. It's not overly heavy - heavy enough that you get a sense of the quality, plus it has some thicker panels by design anyways, but not heavy to the extent that it is impractical - so a person can rearrange the furniture whenever they want by themselves (the metal legs do NOT seem rough so I wouldn't be worried about it scratching the floors if you are pushing it around), and if you ever move to a new house it won't be a big deal. Overall I am very satisfied with this purchase!
