looks nice if not scratched
The handling of this item was poor. it arrived with the card board covering all torn and the unit had scratches on it as well as one corner damaged. I didn't want to hassle with returning it and waiting for another so I kept it. i would certainly ask to have them use fed-X in the future.

Intructions for putting table together
Wal-Mart has done a great job of giving detailed instruction this unit had numerous screws and hardware and it was very easy with the instructions supplied.

Delighted
This credenza exceeded our expectations. It was fairly easy to assemble. It is worth noting that we have previously assembled many Sauder pieces. The color fits in with the new woodwork in our living room beautifully. Drawers hold DVD's and video tapes with titles visible. The shelves in the side areas are quite recessed. This was a surprise. We may not put those in and use the areas to store board games instead.

Good sturdy piece of furniture
Received the product in good condition and in a timely manner. Make sure you get someone to help you load it if you pick it up at a Walmart store as it is heavy. As others mentioned it is darker than the picture indicates.
Was fairly easy to assemble but it is heavy. Only had one glitch one of the lug bolts did not tighten properly and when I lifted it to move into place one of the top corners popped lose but since the top is heavy it was ok as the downward force keeps it in place. They did not supply an extra hardware so I ordered a replacement lug for future use. They shipped it free and in a timely manner.
Over I would recommend it if you don't mind spending a few hours assembling it.

Beautiful piece of furniture
Had shipped to home due to weight. It took my DIY, very skilled son-in-law with some help from my daughter, 4 full hours to assemble. Very easy to read 19 page instruction book comes with it and finished product IS BEAUTIFUL. VERY SATISFACTORY.
