Take your time
This item arrived with a damaged top so I called Sauder directly and they immediately sent a replacement part. It took about 4 hours as advertised to assemble but with patience everything works perfectly. It is a nice looking piece of furniture and very functional.

beautiful piece - but assembly is time consuming!
It is beautiful once it's put together and looks great in our living room! I think it's too pricey though for the quality and time needed to build it. It took my husband 3 hours to put it together and the hardest part was getting the drawers to line up properly so they would both slide in and out correctly. If you don't mind the time spent putting it together it's fine.... but be warned you have to be smarter than the instructions. The drawers were a nightmare!!!

Love this TV stand!
Absolutely love this highboy TV stand. Husband had it put together in a short time. It is very heavy, weighs approximately 120 lbs. Drawers are very deep and glide in and out with ease. I am using this TV stand in my den with a 42" television, and it looks really nice. Looks like a VERY expensive piece of furniture; you won't be disappointed.

Very nice piece of furniture for a TV stand.
Love the way it looks. Love the fact that it isn't low. TV is mounted to a wall. Use it for all of my receivers and other electronic equipment. The height is extremely convenient. Other stands tend to be about 24" high. This is one of the exceptions. Only problem - it took hubby 5 hrs to put together. I kind of think it was worth it, but I didn't have to put it together. He likes it and it does look great in our Family Room.

We couldn't be happier with this tv stand! It's absolutely gorgeous, exceeding our expectations. I love the look, the height and the storage. It does take a while to assemble, with a large number of parts and hardware pieces. Follow the directions methodically and it goes together beautifully with everything perfectly aligned. It's heavy and sturdy, and does not look like assemble it yourself furniture. Our 46" tv fits perfectly, with room for components on the open shelf and accessories in the drawers and cabinet. Makes me happy everytime I look at it!!
