Looks so much more expensive.

I really love this unit. It makes the room look so much better and it houses everything I have very neatly. I have some advice however; if you're going to put this together, get a bottle of wood glue and glue all the pieces together and also put a dollop of the glue in the holes where the cam threads are before inserting and tightening the cam locks. All this gluing will ensure this unit will never come loose over time. Cam screw/lock systems are known for coming loose, so glue them all in place. For the price and look, I am very happy.

Decent value for the price

Given the price of some TV stands, this is a pretty decent value.
The unit looks nice and the finish could fool you into thinking it is real wood.
For under $200, we are happy with it.
The issues I had:
A few of the cam-locks bent or broke on me. Probably from over-tightening, but your instinct is to make them feel like they are tight. In reality, you really only need a quarter turn. The cam locks are cheap die-cast metal. They give you two spares.
Not enough wood glue came with the kit. The dowels were a bit undersized and short, so I felt like i need to use more glue. I also put wood glue along the edges when I installed the top, once I started having the issues with the cam locks.
The stickers they provide to cover the exposed cam locks did not stick very well.
I wish the unit was a bit deeper to hold my stereo components, but I knew that from the product description.

Item arrived perfect!

This box arrived looking pretty beat up so I was expecting some broken pieces. However, not one single part was damaged! I put it together easily.
