Expresso the new Black?
Website reads black but when it arrived it was Expresso marked on the box. I decided to personally call the manufacture myself to clarify the colors. Convenience Concepts in Illinois confirmed they do not make black the color is Expresso. I think Walmart should change it on their website so others will not be disappointed. I needed and wanted black to match my furniture this Big Sur Highboy TV Stand is Expresso which is a dark brown with some hints of deep red tones. The TV Stand is nice I love the height most TV Stands are short but not this one. From my experience it was extremely hard to find a tall TV Stand. It may not match my furniture but I need something this tall so I will keep it. Disappointed that it was not black it would have been the perfect match. If it's not directly next to my black furniture and on the other side of the room it doesn't look horrible it will do for now.

not true to color
On the website the stand looks brown in color When it arrived it is espresso. Very disappointed in color so it has to go back to store. The stand itself lloks great but color on website is misleading.

Classy tv stand for a reasonable price
We just bought this tv stand to go in our family room. It supports a 39" tv. across a corner space. We had to have a smaller - but tall size - for this space and it fits perfectly.
The wood is dark and goes with lamps in the room. There is storage space which is
helpful to store our collection of DVD's.
We have to look at it every day as our family room "connects" with our kitchen so wanted something nicer. My husband set it up and said it was not too difficult.
Looks like a more expensive piece. Hope it will be there for many years.

Attractive piece-easy assembly-but overpriced
This stand was purchased for our TV room and is used for our 55" TV and works perfectly. It has a nice finish but the back is nothing but a colored thin cardboard piece that gets tacked on. Assembly was rather easy and accomplished within about 30 minutes. We would recommend the product although we felt it was overpriced for a "self assemble" item.

looks better then I expect!
So far, it's been great. I am alwas scheptical about buying furniture online but this was a great buy. It's small enough to place almost anywhere. In my case I have 100lb flat screen tv 42in. With my single bose speaker in front and my module in the cabinet. Fits perfectly in my bedroom.
