Pretty good value for the price
I chose this TV stand for its appearance, and because it had almost the exact dimensions I was looking for.
This TV stand was very well packed (in a carton within a carton, and with lots of styrofoam). Unfortunately, as soon as I began the assembly process, I noticed that the very first piece was damaged. I suspect that this was actually a manufacturing issue rather than a shipping issue, and used some wood glue and a clamp to re-attach a loose block to this piece while I continued on to the next step.
The assembly instructions were pretty clear. Assembly took a little more than an hour, and went smoothly until I went to attach the doors. At first, they did not seem to fit in the opening. But with a little force I eventually managed to get them into place. The doors are slightly uneven if you look closely, and there is no way to adjust them. Also, I think that they may be rubbing on the bottom when you open and close them, but I do not plan to open and close them very often.
Once assembled, this TV stand looks as pictured. I have a 42" HDTV on top of the stand, and a DVD player and set top box on the open shelf. I have not noticed any sagging or warping mentioned by some of the other reviewers.
To buy something similar pre-assembled would have cost 2-3 times as much.

Good value, excellent customer service
Had to send the first one back due to a defective finish. But that was easy and we had a second one in three days.
Material quality, fit, and finish were good for the price paid. All wood parts were solid wood or hardwood veneer over particle board. Fasteners were all of good quality. Instructions were typically vague but adequate.
I've put many kits like this together over the years, so this one was easy to assemble. For a novice, I would recommend having a second pair of hands to assist. Also, while the instructions make no mention of glue and none is provided, I would recommend using a quality wood glue on the dowels and wood joints to provide extra strength over time.

Beautiful Piece of Furniture
Gorgeous color, nice lines and looks more expensive than it really was. I love it and have received lots of compliments in the month I've had it.
