Vary cheap looking , the stand is nice but the fireplace which is the main item of the fireplace is plastic looking and the fire is soooo fake looking. It shakes and rattles totally unhappy with thi item.

understated elegance

The surrounding shelving of the fire place doesn't try for the brick chimney look that some electric fire places do. This worked very well with my living room. Doesn't look out of place at the same time adding to the atmosphere of every inch of the room.
It does weigh a ton. Be prepared to unpack it outside or have two or three strong friends help get it inside.
