Great for value minded
I was surprised to get such a solid piece with the cost being so low. I wanted a stand that would be secure to handle a few bumps and keep steady enough for my TV, and this stand fits the bill. The base sits flat on the floor and shelves and drawers are solid. The finish is slightly darker than cherry but it a nice deep brown. A welcome change from black finishes. The draw pulls smoothly and the shelves on the side, although not designed for a lot of weight, are sturdy enough to hold several books and knick knacks to accent your set.
There are two things to take into consideration with this unit; first, the height is a bit low for smaller TVs. Our 32” inch on its base is a little below eye level. For larger TVs or ones on higher stands it would be perfect. Second; the pieces are heavy and it is a bit difficult if you are putting it together on your own. An extra set of hands will really help.

Didn't work
The tv stand was cute and sturdy but unfortunately mine had the holes not in the right place so once assembled the tv stand was not as it was supposed to be.

Console TV Stand
Easy to it together, well made, solid, and looks nice. Perfect for small spaces. Great value for the money. Very happy with it. Would recommend.

good value for price, but...
Piece of cake to assemble for medium skill or higher. Wife kept voicing serious doubts during early assembly, but we were both impressed with quality of final appearance (wood) for price. Just budget yourself a few extra dollars to replace the cheap looking plastic handle (actually turned out to be a plus because wife choose an inexpensive handle at the hardware store that perfectly tied this piece to the rest of the room). Sturdy enough; have our 60" LED flat screen just barely under recommended weight on top shelf, and I don't have the slightest concern. Finishing off with a couple of furniture polish wet wipes makes all the difference. Well, that and maybe a dark brown furniture marker (just 'cause its sturdy doesn't mean you should drag your flat screen across the finish).
