Solid piece of furniture

My wife and I are extremely pleased with our recent purchase of the Ashley Cross Island 42" TV Stand. It is a perfect fit for our room, and the unit is very solid. (shipping weight is over 100#) It was relatively easy to put together. The most difficult part was the last trim piece, which I ended up using glue and clamps to affix to the front of the unit. It goes well with our other mission style furniture, and has the look of a solid wood piece of fine furniture. (there are no thin/glued on veneers, even though some of the parts are of man made materials. I highly recommend this unit, especially if you have a shorter wall to put your TV and components against.

Love the TV stand

I bought 2 of the Cross Island 42'' TV stands to put on each side of my fireplace. Excellent quality furniture, very heavy. Shipping packaging was extensive, there was no damage. It took me longer to get the items out of the box than it did to put the stand together. Instructions were vague, with just pictures, but assembly was easy. Only took about 25 minutes to put the first stand together and 15 for the second stand.
