A fabulously EXQUISITE family room addition!
I must say this piece of furniture literally lights-up our TV room and; it’s the very first thing anyone notices. I’ve had numerous compliments already and every time I walk through my living room area; it’s just so appealing I have to stop and take look myself. Both my components; DVR and DVD player fit perfectly into the upper sections with room to spare for a remote control on the side. With its rich elegant features such as; the upper most shelving’s reddish walnut finish, the louvered cabinet storage doors, and the lifelike interior brick firebox design you’ll be stopping to take a look too. This unit will arrive at your door in two separate boxes, one for the media console (shipping weight 89 lbs.) and another with the electric fireplace (shipping weight 39 lbs).
There are so many wonderful features to this ‘Wiltshire Media Console and Electric Fireplace, for TV's up to 46", Black’ I’m truly not sure where to begin. It has a really nice safety feature that protects the internal heater from overheating, if this does occur the heater will automatically shut off and must be reset. To do this you simply unplug the heater/fireplace and wait for about 10 minutes or more for the unit to cool; after 10 minutes plug it back in and follow your general operating instructions.
Since I’m totally new to operating/owning an electric fireplace, the firebox control options really made me light up. You can adjust both the flame as well as the logs brightness/glow using a 1-5 setting! The first setting (1) is a nice dim ambient background great for late nights watching TV. The heater itself is actually WHISPER quiet; you’ll more than likely will not even hear it, especially while watching your favorite movie/show. It’ll adjust from 62 F – 82 F manually using the remote control or on the firebox control panel. If for whatever reason you prefer a Celsius reading, just hold the heater button for 5 seconds, the temperature readout will convert from F to C and vise versa. The timer feature allows you to program exactly how long you prefer the heater duration to stay on for example: 30 minutes as well as 1 hour increments totaling 9 hours.
It’s really cool how the remote control is equipped with a “beep” that will sound each time you press any key, this function can also be easily turned off too. I truly love everything about this product, the quality, overall design, and space/storage functionality, last but not least, the firebox is a Mojo glow of good time! This is DEFINITELY one of those purchases you’ll never regret.
