Amazing product that is sure to please
I purchased this item after searching through TV Stands that would be both affordable and study as I originally intended for the stand to hold up my 42" Plasma (90 lbs). Well I found this one, it seemed to be nice advertising a max capacity of 250lbs. Assembly was a breeze, I had it together in 30 minutes, not even. After assembly I sat on it quickly (at the time i was 245 lbs) then put my TV on it and it held it perfectly, I was able to fit all my equipment in the stand and some movies etc... Very stylish looking I must say! Anyways, since then I replaced my 42" Plasma with a 60" SXRD TV (aprox 121lbs), and it holds this TV like it weighed like a feather. Very study still, the TV goes very nicely with the stand and it fits PERFECTLY! I give this TV stand not only my personal approval but also my professional approval as a mechanical engineering student! This stand is perfect for anyone, it is small yet large enough to hold a massive sized projection television as well as a vhs player, blu-ray player, surround sound receiver, laserdisc player, and many assorted tapes, discs, and extra cables.

good quality product
Almost looks like real wood painted black. Very easy to put together and is very sturdy. I have a 52 in LCD on it and it fits perfect on it.

I chose this TV stand because it said it would hold up to a 52" TV. when I received the item and put it together, the caution sticker on the back said it holds up to a 44" TV. I have a 50" on it now, and it seems to hold it fine, although is a bit wobbly. It is OK for now but I may try to find a more sturdy one.
It was really easy to put together and looks really nice. The storage is great but I probably wouldn't put a TV larger than 46" on it for any long period of time. Also, my cable box didn't fit on the shelf and was hanging off about 2 inches. I have a friend that works for the cable company so he was able to give me a smaller box that aren't out on the market yet.

A very good value; looks great!
I bought 2 of these. Each has a 40" TV on it, and the scale is just perfect. I wouldn't go much bigger than a 42" TV on this. I assembled the 1st one myself in about 3.5 hours; I definitely recommend having a 2nd person available to help with a few of the steps, especially putting the top on. The hardest part is getting the doors on. We had to use a putty knife to hold the top button down on the door, and it still took several tries to get the button to go in its hole. My husband assembled the 2nd one. I don't know if the top was warped, or if he did not assemble the center portion correctly, but there is a gap at the top of the left door, so that the white pin is visible.
The other disappointments I have: the stand is not 24" high as stated, but 23". I specifically wanted a 24" height, but it's not worth returning them for a 1" discrepancy. Also the little pins to hold the shelves in place do not stay in the holes well; the holes are too big for the pins.

Great Quality & Price!
This product is very sturdy & the shelves are the perfect size for holding our VCR/DVD Player & the Direct TV Receiver. Just be sure to install the shelves so the wires can drop down the back. If there is no gap at the back, just flip the shelf around & this will take care of the problem. This was the ONLY thing I didn't find on the instructions that could create a problem.
The price was great for such a nice TV Console.
