It will do

1st off it's looks black. My wife wanted dark brown, but we are tired of unpacking and repacking these boxes from Walmart so we are settling. The only time you will notice some browns swirls is if you are less than 1 foot away.
This is our 3rd try. The 1st was scratched in the front areas, the 2nd was literally broken in half. The 3rd one the box was in good shape. Opened it and it was neatly packed. Still it was a crack on one of the legs, but like I said, I'm tired and it was on the inside of the leg that wasn't noticeable.

Important note: when putting it together, the long thin wood piece for the back must have the screw locks facing outwards. This because the rough part will be used to screw on the cardboard back panel. The thin wood piece for the front must have the screw facing inwards.

Also remember from the directions in the beginning that the glass doors are adjustable. So it should not rub the edges at all when closing.

All in all for the price this is a good TV Stand (If you want a black one), and it doesn't look cheap, feels solid and it meets my need of holding my PS3, Amp, cable box, Modem, Router, extra hard drive for movies and a place to throw the video games in that can't be seen (closed shelf).

I should give it 3 stars for all the shipping drama and it looking black, but since this just about the product I gave it 4 because it wasn't that hard to setup, it feels sturdy and it does look good for the price.

Sturdy

It took us 4 hours to assemble so I must warn you it's not for the weak at heart. Beautiful piece and looks like an expensive piece of furniture. It's is pretty dark so I may look like its black at times but it is a dark brown.

Cheap Product, long and complicated setup

This product takes forever to put together. The instructions seem complicated but are pretty straight forward once you get started. It took me about 4 sweat filled hours to put together. The screws don't fit in most of the pre-drilled holes but thankfully I had my Dad's Crafstman drill and was able to re-drill some of the holes in order to make the screws fit properly. Also, the door hinges are not connecting properly to each other. I still need to call the manufacturer in order to have them resend me proper door hinges. Do your self a favor and spend a little more money on a better quality product.

Definitely What I Wanted!

This tv stand was very time consuming to build. Around 2.5-3 hrs, even with 2 people building. That didn't matter much to me as long as it was going to be sturdy & secure. The finished built product looks great! I do not miss my old stand and this one was worth every penny. We utilize every compartment & it really fits all of the electronics we own.

Nice TV stand for the money

This is a very nice looking, solidly built stand. My husband and I put it together (O.K., mostly my husband!) and it did take a good 2 hours, but that is just typical for these assemble-it-yourself furniture pieces. We actually found the directions easy to follow, and every piece was labeled and easy to identify, which was a plus. When completed, it is a very nice piece of furniture which looks like it will last for years to come.
