After reading the reviews we were reluctant to order the unit. However, I gave it thought to having it delivered ‘site to store’ thus minimizing the exposure to damage. We picked up the unit and there was no damage to the exterior box. The unit was in A-1 shape. If you are contemplating this unit it is a very nice piece of furniture and fits our 60” TV perfectly. The only thing I would suggest is not to have it shipped to your home.

minor shipping damage cracked hinge rear
the case had two instances of damage in the rear. the end result was a beautiful piece if furniture. the instructions were clear and easy, but assemble it in your garage, packing materials are extremely messy. have some wood glue on hand. I am handy so it took about 1.5 hours to complete by my self. over all it was a value for the price. I am happy with it in the end

My son put this together and it didn't take long. I took the advice of others that had purchased this item and had it sent to the store and not to my home. The only issue was the styrofoam used in backing. it had broken up, but still protected the product. It just meant that the stand had to be completed vacuumed to get the styrofoam off the stand. It was covered and made a mess in the house.

looks great
a little lower than what i expected but not by much. probably the most easiest assembly i have ever had. looks great. was worried about reciever being behind the glass doors and interfering with controller but there are no problems. well worth the money

Good fit
We purchased this for our large living room and it fills the space wonderfully. A nice surprise was the bottom had small modules to help slide once putting together and helps avoiding scratching the wood floors. Happy with this purchase.
