Just what we hoped for, for the price - BUT!
This unit is more then what we expected for the price. Sadly the unit was delivered damaged. Checking with the manufacturer for a replacement for the damaged part, we were told there were none in stock nor any plans to produce more. Even if they had, we had to deal with WalMart for a fix or return.
WalMart told us they did not have any replacement units or parts with no plans to reorder. Our option was to return the unit for a full refund or keep the damaged goods.
Consulting with someone who knows furniture, they could attempt to fix it where it would not be noticeable but not perfect. We opted to give it a try and glad we did. Unless you look hard, you can not see where the damage is and the unit overall just looks great.
Now it would be nice if WalMart would offer us a discount for accepting damaged goods as opposed to returning it for a full refund.

This is a nice TV stand for large flat screen TVs. It is well constructed, packaged fairly well and requires 2 to 3 hours to assemble. The only negative thing I can report is the packaged product is large and heavy and could be damaged in shipping and handling. Mine was and I did not notice until after I completely assembled the product. Obviously it was dropped, and as fate would have it, the damage was on the front corner of the very top and there was also a crack on the front upper rail for the doors. The manufacturer should have more or thicker cushioning materials in all four corners of the shipping box. Assembly instructions are done very well except in one case part # 13 was indicated as part # 14. Also, both ends of the stand have holes for wooden dowels that were drilled too deep. One warning is to not screw-in the "Cam bolts" too far - only down to where you can still see one thread.

Highly Recommend
This is definitely not your regular $100.00 entertainment center; we had one of those from Walmart which we used for a very long time but with a new TV we had to upgrade to something else. It is very sturdy and made out of real wood; each part feels heavy. You will need two strong people to carry it; I recommend four! or if you want to spend more money, home delivery might not be a bad idea. The color is a lot darker in person than in the picture. The assembly was not bad. The instructions that came with it were pretty good. Taking your time it should take you an hour or two to assemble it; less if you have two people. I definitely recommend this product for anyone looking for a quality entertainment center.

We bought a 60" tv and had a heck of a time finding a decent stand that we both liked and that was large enough. We didn't want a glass stand and didn't want to have to pay $2000 for a stand either. I was hesitant to purchase this at first because I've never seen quality furniture at Wal-Mart. I ordered it anyway because it looks decent in the pictures and I needed something quickly. I had it shipped to the store so I didn't have to pay for shipping costs. This thing is HEAVY! It was easy for my husband to assemble. It's very well made and it's not cheap and flimsy like some of the items I've purchased at Wal-Mart. We are both very happy we chose this stand. It is slightly darker than what is shown in the pictures though.

ok for the price
From the description I thought it was going to be solid wood. It is mostly a wood composite or something similar. It is ok for the price I paid.
