TV stand
Looks nice in the space I got it for. A little complicated to assemble. Would of preferred each type of nut and screw would of been in it't own individual marked bag instead of multple bags of mixed and unlabled, the items were only referred to as a number though a picture was in the instructions....just think it could of been made easier. Overall am very pleased.

Stressful!
It should have been exactly what I was expecting. Unfortunately, FedEx left the box in my rental office. There is one flight of stairs to my apartment. The office is on the ground floor. It is not a light package. It took me eight days to find someone to bring it to my home and pay him for his time and muscle. I just moved to SC and have no car. That's why I ordered from your site. My son puts the stand together and we realize that the holes needed to attach the top to the bottom were improperly placed (don't match with the bottom). Then we noticed that the front of the two drawers are different shades. Its a shame, I actually like the color stand and the look of the piece. Lesson learned, never again will I order furniture from a website. Two stars due to the stressful situation.

A Sound Addition
I recently purchased and assembled this South Shore TV stand, and I am very pleased with the results. It replaced a much smaller stand which had been crowded with new stereo equipment and may have been reaching its maximum weight tolerances. This stand both houses all my equipment perfectly, and allows room for future growth.
Allow me to break down my more specific observations a bit more distinctly.
Arrival and Set Up: This is not a light weight piece of furniture, so beware. Be sure to take a good inventory of all your parts and pieces prior to assembly. I found upon inspection that the very last piece I unpacked was damaged, and of course, it was the most important and noticeable part - the top. I will mention that this was entirely a problem of either poor shipping and/or storage, and should not reflect on the quality of the product. I contacted Customer Service immediately. They were extremely friendly and cordial, and had the required replacement piece to me in just over 5 business days, from Canada. Pretty impressive. Despite some reviews to the contrary, actual assembly was not difficult for me, and I estimate that it can be achieved with one person, within 2 hours. Quicker if you have 2 people. If you have assembled similar furniture in the past the parts, pieces, and instructions should be immediately familiar to you. Easy day.
Construction and Appearance: Over all construction is solid and sound. Parts fit practically perfectly, and those that don't are barely noticeable at all. The drawer bottoms are a bit thin as mentioned in other reviews, but so long as you're not putting heavily weighted items within you shouldn't have any issues. One small drawback is the back panel, as it only has one small hole for wire pass through. I forewent its installation as I require greater air ventilation for my stereo components, and seeing through to the back wall in practically unnoticeable. A huge advantage I found with this stand is its depth, as many stands advertised are very swallow in depth, and hardly allow for the greater size of many modern stereo/entertainment components. All of my items fit better than expected, which is a real treat. Keep in mind the stand is of particle board construction with laminate veneer, so it may be more prone to damage than solid wood. It does in turn however, keep the price point rather manageable. The appearance is true to description, and is of a dark espresso finish in a typical wood grain pattern. It's quite attractive, and compliments similar furniture in my room space.
Overall Value: The price point of this stand is very reasonable, and much less expensive than many stands I have researched and seen of much lower quality and appearance. If you've shopped around enough I'm sure you've found that many stands are prohibitively expensive, and so this stands out as a pleasant surprise. Not only does the stand achieve everything I wished for it to accomplish, both in terms of what it holds, how much it can hold, and it's attractive appearance, it exceeds my expectations, and has room for future additions.
Conclusion: I am very happy with my purchase on all levels. I would strongly consider making future purchases from this manufacturer, and I would recommend it to anyone who similarly finds it practical, interesting and useful.

You get what you pay for which in this case not much.

It is 57 inches long and not 49.5.
I'm so disappointed! I didn't even get it all out of the box and I know this TV stand will not work for us. It is 57 inches long and not 49.5 like the description says. I've been waiting 2 weeks for it to arrive and now I have to return it and begin the search again. I was pleasantly surprised that the color is darker than the picture online. It would have gone well with our espresso color side tables.
