Great
Very nice stand looKS very elegant and very spacious in inserts and cupboards. Came a Lil damaged but with ding and scratches but a brown sharpie made it new look new Came very quickly for shipping

We get what we pay for, (or do we)?
The actual color is much darker than shown. Almost black. It's made entirely of particle board, with a very thin paper veneer on the exposed surfaces. The quality of the particle board is lacking. In some places it's too porous to hold the screws securely. The edges and corners were scuffed, but not bad enough to return. A little furniture polish provided a cover. The most difficult part about assembly was about 3 hours of crouching, and kneeling, and getting up off the floor during and afterwards, for an old senior like me. Twenty years ago I could have done it in half the time.
In summation, it is an attractive piece of furniture, and does a good job of supporting my 60" flat panel tv. but if I had seen this on display in the store before purchasing, I would not have bought it. I would have opted for better quality, (albeit at a higher price.).

Great TV stand for the price
Seeing as there is only 1 review for this item I thought I would give my 2 cents. I have only had this TV stand for one day, it took about 2-3 hours to setup. The instructions were pretty straight forward, I took my time getting to know the pieces and separating out all the hardware, so you could definitely get it done faster if you know what you're doing. I will try to come back and update this review in about 6 months to let everybody know how it is holding up. First things first, the color. The price and style of this stand drew me in but I was a little worried about the color, in some of the pictures it looks ok and in others it has almost a mustardy light brown look to it. The color of the one I received was a nice dark brown with a small hint of red for the "cherry" in the description. It doesn't look bad at all, definitely doesn't stick out. I am pretty sure there are no actual pieces of "wood" on this stand, it is all the MDF stuff or particle board or whatever you want to call it. For this price I couldn't be happier, there is lots of room for all my video game consoles, and while the storage on both sides is a little narrow, it is pretty deep, it will hold your extra games, controllers, and blurays with ease. We have a 60 inch LG flat panel TV that sits on it and it looks great. There is actually a little room on each side of the stand where the stand is longer than the tv, so in other words the TV does not overhang the stand. We did the free shipping option on walmart.com and had it sent right to the house via Fedex. The delivery estimate was about a week, I ordered it on Sunday and it was here on the following Wednesday, from Pennsylvania to SW Indiana, not to bad. In summary this is a great tv stand for the price, yes it is not solid wood, but you need to inspect it closely to know otherwise. I usually live by the old saying "you get what you pay for," but with this item I cheated the system, great product at a great price! Hope this helps in your search.

chipped all over
I bought this tv stand for my mother in law as a christmas gift. When we picked it up and opened the box, all of the front corners were chipped. Even the protective styrofoam was cracked. I was only in town for a week so there was no way to replace it for the size of tv she has. I was very disappointed. Please take more care in the way you process and handle your items. Very disappointing!

Damages
The corners of the wood were water damaged and warped. Because I ordered it online, I could only return at the store, not exchange. Now I get to start the order process all over again.
