Get what you pay for

The shelves are made too thin and are prone to break at the holes for the supports, as mine did. The supports are made of plastic. Though "for plastic" it is more sturdy than expected it is still quite wobbly, I expected metal. One of these engineering short commings alone leaves it prone to failure but both together guarantees a short life for this piece of furniture. I almost immediately noticed sagging of the top shelf from the weight of my standard weight 32" flat screen TV. I also revived mine with some minor damage to one end of the top shelf finish. This shows poor quality control as it came out of the box this way. If you are looking for something "cheap" this it. Don't expect it to last very long though.

Decent product for price.

TV stand delivered very quickly by UPS. Packaging is compact and light. Very easy to assemble, 15 minutes or less. No tools are required, everything done by hand. This stand is basic, light weight, and reasonably attractive. I have a 43 inch Plasma sitting on it, and it looks great. The two shelves below the TV platform provide enough space for a cable box and DVR.

Easy to assemble.

I was happy with this product, I used it for a computer/ printer stand next to my tv. I used my tv for the monitor and wireless mouse and keyboard to cut down or hanging wires. Now I can work at home , from the comfort of my easy chair. It is fairly sturdy and adds a finished look to my entertainment cabinet. The assembly consisted of twisting on the pillars and following the enclosed instruction manual.
