Nice Enough
Typical Sauder furniture - great for people (like me) who can't afford very expensive furniture but want furniture that looks decent. Very nice looking on the outside, easy enough to put together. I've always enjoyed putting together Sauder furniture, but now after putting together this particular piece, I do believe Sauder is catching up with the rest of the competition, they're starting to get sloppy. Some pieces scratched or coming apart (not very noticeable, so I'm ok with it). However, tons of pieces were NOT MARKED. Thank goodness the instruction manual was informative enough for me to figure it all out. Part no. K was missing altogether - that little piece you screw the electrical outlet onto located in the middle. I can live without that as well. All in all, good price for what I got. Just going to use it to store all of my bar glasses in.

Beautiful but pieces weren't all marked
This is a beautiful, quality (considering it's chipboard) stand. It's even nicer than the picture. The directions were clear and exceptionally concise with only one HUGE problem -- only half of the pieces were marked to coincide with the directions and there were a lot of them. If all the pieces had been marked per instructions, it would have taken half the time to put it together. I would have rated this 5 stars except for that.

Great...if it came with all the pieces
Made from engineered wood, not solid wood.
Looks great and stronger than regular particle board.
Box arrived with a gouge in it and scratched the finish, nothing a brown sharpie couldn't fix.
Knobs are kind of tacky, but that is easily fixed by replacing them with different knobs.
Like that you can choose from wood or glass fronts for the doors, may eventually replace with frosted glass.
Most important was that it was missing a board, board Y to be specific. It is not a very small piece so I am not sure how it made correct weight in the factory. Unfortunately it is a piece that the tv stand can't be built without so we will have to wait an additional 7 days just to finish assembly.

very nice looking
First off, it came in two boxes one was a little under 100 pounds the other a little over. Construction took me and my fiance over five hours! Disappointingly few pieces are solid wood and the back is that basic cardboard you get with a lot of pressed board furniture items. You can't tell and it looks amazing finished... just like the picture. But for the price I would have liked to receive a back that can't be broken through by a child.

Does not support a lot of weight
I bought this because it was the only such "credenza" I could find which would hold up to 6 audio/video components at the minimal height requirement of 33 inches. Putting it together took me a good 5 hours. At first I was impressed because it seemed to be constructed of decent materials, but once I got all of my components in it and my TV on top (which is well under the specifications as far as maximum weight is concerned), the supports buckled below between the feet. This did not pose a any danger because the overall weight was supported by the feet in the corners of the unit, but it looked horrible. I had to use wood glue to secure those (on both sides) so they would not bow back out as it's an eye sore. And the fronts of each shelf also bowed a bit which can be seen when the doors are opened. It's well designed, but some of the materials certainly could be improved to prevent the bowing. I must say I did receive compliments on the unit nonetheless.
