Next Best Thing To A Real Fireplace!
I have always loved having a fireplace in my home. My husband and I rent now and our little house has no fireplace. We live in a small mountain community at about 4000 ft elevation. It gets very cold in the winter with occasional snow. We decided to purchase a fake fireplace when we saw how nice they make them now. We chose the Whalen 41" Cherry Media Center. It came to us unassembled but it wasn't difficult at all to put together. We did it together and it took 3 hours from start to finish. The instructions were very easy to follow. We love how it looks in our living room. The fire looks real and the heater heats the room nicely. You can turn the heater off and just enjoy the glow of the flames if you like. We don't have a flat screen TV yet to put on top of the mantle so I put some framed photos and it looks very nice. This particular piece of furniture has made our little home complete. I love how it has added a warm and cozy atmosphere. It's the next best thing to a real fireplace.

Great product!
Made this purchase for my mother's terrace level apartment in my home. Product shipped in a timely fashion and arrive with no damages. The only reason I don't rate with 5 stars is because it came with no directions for assembly. A little disappointed to open up the carton, lay all the pieces out, only to find out we had to pack it all back up and wait until we had directions. This was on a Saturday when customer service was closed so I had to wait until Monday to contact them. With that being said, getting the assembly instructions was very easy as they were able to email them to me.
Directions were very clear, all parts were numbered and we had it assembled in just over 1hour. It's a beautiful pice of furniture. The flame looks so cozy and it blows out some good heat. My elderly mother will really enjoy it this winter.
Overall I am extremely pleased with this purchase. May just have to buy one for my bedroom!

Very Good for the Price
This fireplace is everything it should be for how cheap it is, especially on sale. The wood isn't real obviously, but the finish is so nice you can't tell and if you can you don't care because it is well put together. The flames on the fire place don't look especially real, but it is really pretty anyway. I love Turing it on and watching the yellow and dark orange dance. The heat is great and heats up the whole room within no time at all, and the room is pretty large. It's not too big a fire place but not too small. Like the third bowl of porridge and the third bed, it's size is just right. The only complaint is that it was kind of a pain to put together but it didn't take too long either. I just didn't like having to use glue and wood pegs at certain points in the process. But all in all I suppose it was not the worst thing I've ever had to put together. I wouldn't buy this from Walmart unless it was on sale though as many fireplaces from Walmart go on pretty good sales and all look to be the same quality. I would recommend buying this fireplace if it is on sale if not, buy one from Walmart that is on sale at the time. Whether or not you buy this fireplace or another one from Walmart on sale you will not be disappointed. Very satisfied customer.

Electric Fireplace
I love this electric fireplace. I shopped far and wide before deciding on this one. It went together easily. I am an older woman and did it solo. I would recommend it to anyone!
