Great value and great look.
Read all the reviews and loved the way this looked. Was a little apprehensive because many of the reviews said the box arrived with huge gashes and some parts of the actual stand were damaged but I took the chance anyways. I ordered this on Saturday Jan 25 with free shipping and it was delivered to my home on Wednesday Jan 29. days from ordering online to delivering to my doorstep for free! AWESOME! The box arrived in tact and all the pieces were in perfect condition too. My cousin put it together in about an hour with just a screwdriver and a hammer it's beautiful. All my cords are hidden, my living room looks neat. Such a great buy. Here is a pic with my 42 inch tv on top.

Beautiful,Sturdy,affordable
My unit came before advertised shipping date,was time consuming to assemble considering i had a 3year old touching everything. but everything was A,B,C,D,labeled so that made putting together pretty easy.unit came cracked on one end but nothing a few extra nails couldnt fix. all in all the unit is very strong and you can tell the put craftmanship into building this piece.i love the french glass door look,receiver and dvd player work great though the glass,and it has huge amount of extra space to store my dvds and electrical components.

Better than expected!
We ordered this for our new HDTV and were SO pleased with the result! We ordered it on Sunday and received it on Thursday. It was easy to track our order on the WalMart website with Fedex Ground tracking. The item was packed VERY well and secure with no spare parts floating around. There was a scrap piece of "wood" on each end so it wouldn't move around in the box. It was a regular wood color, not black which threw us at first. But everything else is wrapped tightly in plastic. Hubby counted the hardware and we were pleased that everything was there. The instructions are a bit misguiding--there was a piece listed as having should've been in there, but it wasn't and whatever it was wasn't needed (make sense?). Also, the # of steps moved from #13 to #15...no #14 listed. It must've just been a misprint.
Hubby put it together quickly and easily. We were surprised that the "finish" wasn't a smooth black, but a matte black, which we LOVE. It doesn't show fingerprints or look messy when people touch it. It's a very solid stand that looks like a nice piece of furniture. The doors are adjustable so you can make them line up correctly. It neatly hides the cords in the back, all but the HDTV and power cords running from the TV down to the units. (see picture)
We are VERY pleased with our overall experience from Walmart.com to the end product. I'd recommend it highly!

This TV stand is a very good bargain! I can't complain about the price, knowing how solid this TV stand is. My flatscreen is a 52'' & it fits perfectly on top. Unlike most other TV stands that are either too wide or too narrow which would make my TV appear smaller or as if it were about to fall off. There is plenty of shelving space, especially since new home theater devices are now made smaller than before. This stand was the best value for my money & I would recommend it to anyone not wanting to empty their wallet. It does require a little assembling, and my fiance was able to assist me in putting it together. I've had it for a month now & not a single complaint yet.

Lovely furniture, terrible instructions
Once built, this piece looks like very upscale sophisticated furniture. It's sleek and pretty and holds my television and all my components beautifully. My only complaints are 1) I wish there were more adjustment options for the interior shelves and 2.) I wish there had been actual words with the instructions instead of just pictures.
I made a couple of not so smart mistakes that I had to come up with a solution for that could have been easily avoided had I had the words, "Finished side up" with the diagram. I know diagrams are the "universal language" but not everyone is logical enough or smart enough to figure every detail out just by looking at a picture. (I know I'm not! lol) A master carepenter, I'm not. I was able to assemble and move it around myself, though, so I still consider it an easy assembly job. And I was able to figure out some solutions to my mistakes that I can live with that doesn't harm the integrity of the unit. I could not be happier with the finished result.
