Good overall, but has it's small issues.
It took my engineer husband about five total hours to assemble this entertainment center. All-in-all the assembly went smoothly, but slowly. The instructions were average and mostly pictures. We didn't run into trouble until the last step, which was putting in the drawers after they'd been assembled. We could not seem to get them to level out and close all the way. This was very frustrating, because we didn't want to have to disassemble the whole piece and take it back to the store, if it turned out to be faulty. Fortunately, my husband figured out on his own just by fussing with it and examining it, that you can make small adjustments to the level of the drawers once they're in, by reaching inside the piece and tweaking the angle of the track, which has a little bit of play to it. There is no mention of doing this in the instructions or the assembly manual. This is something you have to discover yourself once you're in the fix. I hope this review helps others to not spend an hour or more banging their heads against the wall as we did, until they figure out on their own how to adjust it, as we did. lol
Overall though, this piece looks good when completed, for the price. We got it on sale, which was even better. My only other gripe is with the veneer, which I feel is rather cheap. You must be very careful during assembly that you don't knock any of the veneered surfaces with anything hard or sharp (like a screwdriver) because the veneer will chip easily. I would not recommend this piece for a very "active" household with many young children. It would look like a mess within months. We'll see what our 1 year old will do to it in a couple years and get back to you. lol ;)
One more thing. The factory knobs are, in our opinion, very boring. We also didn't like their oval shape, because it's nearly impossible to keep them looking uniform to one another. We went to Lowes and found replacement knobs in their hardware section in a deep brown bronze round-knobs with an off-white ceramic inlay. Against the dark espresso-colored "wood", they look stunning and add at least another couple hundred dollars to the appearance of the piece itself. It's amazing what a little extra bling can do.
We are pretty happy with it now, and provided a picture of it below with "our" knobs on it.

Looks great!
So far I love this TV stand. It was a HUGE pain to put together - make sure you follow all the directions very carefully. The end result has been expected and worth it. The drawers are a little tight and open and close rough but they work. DVD's fit nicely up on their sides in the drawers. I hate the cheesy folding/nailed on backing but with things on the shelves you don't really see it. The only other thing was the underneath foot in the middle of the unit for the added support was too tall and made the whole thing uneven and wobble. I used furniture pads under the 4 outer legs and it evened it out perfectly - my 42" flatscreen is on top of it safely. All in all I love it b/c it's different than a regular TV stand, it looks sharp, and b/c it's taller, my 19 month old son can't turn the TV on and off constantly which is an added bonus.

A Few Drawbacks, But Good Value Overall
Overall, we are very pleased with this TV stand. Here is our experience: We ordered this item along with the matching Library and Utility Stand using “site-to-store.” Unfortunately, the shipment was botched – when we went to pick up our 3 items, we discovered that they had sent 2 of the Libraries and 1 Utility Stand (but no TV Stand). However, Walmart apologized and shipped us the TV Stand overnight, so we were happy with their resolution.
We are very happy overall with the Highboy. I’ll start with the “cons”: Coming out of the box, one of the shelves had a pretty large, deep gouge in it (about the size of a paper clip). We filled it in with ProCaulk and painted it to match the wood finish – ultimately, that helped the appearance, and the gouge is further back inside of the unit where it’s not likely to be seen once we put things on the shelves, etc. One other drawback is that, despite careful construction, there is a slight gap (one-sixteenth of an inch) between the very top shelf and the walls of the unit, which you can see if you look at it straight-on. Also, the drawers are a little harder to slide in and out than we’d like, but it’s tolerable. We’ll try adding some lubricant and/or adjusting the drawers. Now for the “pros”: The finished unit does look very nice and is quite sturdy, and while it does take some time to put together, the instructions are clear and easy to follow. Overall, we are happy with our purchase. NOTE: This stand is only specified to carry TVs weighing 70lbs or less!

Boys dresser
A lot of pieces to this one. The unit is very heavy once put together. Give yourself several hours to assemble. Very nice piece for the price. It does have a cardboard back.

Don't waste your $
Looks good in picture but arrived damaged and with parts missing. Cheap quality finished piece doesn't look as good as this picture. . I regret this purchase.
