Great stand - no ventilation
I've had my eye on this stand for quite awhile. Every time I would go to order it, it would be out of stock, the second it came back in, I ordered right away. The stand is well built and heavy! It has a ton of storage and comes with different door styles you can choose from. The unit also arrived a lot faster than I was expecting.
The biggest issue, and it's really a HUGE issue, is there is NO ventilation. All of your expensive components and game consoles will fry in this unit if you don't either A) keep the doors open, which defeats the purpose IMO (the doors that look like they are slats are actually fabbed as one pieces with no air flow) or B) install electronic fans on a thermostat. My husband and I decided to go with option B after our receiver stopped working and Xbox One started acting up. We put four fans in the center portion and single fans in the outer door ones. Considering that we only paid $400 for such a nice unit (comparables over $800-$1500), putting the fans in was a small price to pay for such an attractive unit.

Love this TV stand!!
This is a beautiful piece of furniture for the price. It looks just like it is shown in the picture online. I am very pleased with my purchase. It goes well with the rest of my decor. The set up is very encumber some because it comes in pieces and not all of the pieces are marked. I had this free shipped to my house and it came 3-days earlier than expected. Two thumbs up for Walmart. I am very impressed!!

Beautiful Piece
I was looking for new furniture for my room and I finally decided to go with this TV stand because it matches my desk that I bought from Office Depot. The TV stand is a lot bigger than what I was expecting but it gives me plenty of storage. My fiancé spent all day building it though, there is a lot of small pieces. But it is absolutey a very nice product coming from Walmart! (It looks exactly like picture, especially down to the color)

Great piece, a few minor improvements can be made
It's beautiful piece. If you have assembled similar furniture before (mostly screws and cams), you'll have no problem with this. Instructions are clear and I had no problem identifying parts. It will take several hours and there are a couple steps where having two people will be helpful. This is a stellar piece for the value.
Assembly will go much faster if you CAREFULLY use a power screwdriver. As long as you are careful not to overtighten screws, you'll be fine. The instructions say to not use power tools.... because most people will overtighten and cause damage. If you are not comfortable with a power screwdriver, then stick to the hand screwdriver.
In person the finish is a dark brown with "subtle" antique / aged finish. It's heavy, sturdy, and with the hardware adjustments had no problem getting doors and drawers to line up properly.
The Wal-Mart experience was excellent. Cheapest price I found and the free delivery was faster than expected. (A few days instead of the initial week plus estimate.)
I reserve 5 stars for "perfect"...I gave this 4 stars for areas I could see improvement with:
1) None of my pieces were damaged in shipping. However, the box included two left outside doors, instead of one left and one right. So when assembled, the shutters on the right door face up instead of down. Sauder has a no-nonsense parts replacement system, so in a few days I'll have the correct part at zero cost.
2) The large center drawer takes a little more force to open and close than I'd like, but it's acceptable.
3) There is a couple inch vertical opening that runs along the entire back center. This can be visible from the front through the glass doors if you're using that option. It's by design for wire access and I presume ventilation. I will probably cover most or parts of this opening with some kind of material ( brushes) that allows the wires and air to get through, but blocks most of the light.
4) The holes the cut for the grommets (in back to allow wires into the outer left and right sections) are cut a little too big... I'll need a little glue to keep the grommets from falling out.
5) If they used "soft closing" hinges and drawer pulls it would have been a nice touch.
All in all I am extremely satisfied and would highly recommend this credenza!

Just right for Price
Credenza 70" perfect for 65" led. Lots of storage with drawers above. Wide top drawer a plus. Antique black finish works well with unit. I have not seen any better for low price after looking in stores and online.. Walmart direct shipping was quick and well packaged by Sauder in two flat packs.. These are heavy and I unboxed and moved upstairs. Instructions were easy enough with only one minor error I assembled over the course of evening and next morning. I have had one Sauber product in past and they seem to be a leader in design and manufacturing of this type of product. Had few spare pieces which was better than shorting. So far so good!
