Good piece good price, not perfect
Bought this for a 51" flat screen/flat panel tv, even though it says it only holds up to 40" TVs. It has held up fine so far. I bought it online; the price, color, height, and cabinet door attracted me most, and the free shipping was nice. It arrived in just a couple days and took about an hour to put together- had two people but could have done it alone. My only complaint is that the cabinet door does not sit flush to the side and looks a bit crooked. I tried to fix this several times but it still looks crooked. If not for that, I would have given this piece all 5 stars across the board. I also chose not to attach the legs because I wanted it a bit shorter and didnt feel like vacuuming underneath. I also figured it would be more stable and more likely to hold the bigger tv.

Some improvement needed
This is a good looking unit, but is flawed. Assembling the tv stand was fairly easy until the very last step….installing the door. This took almost as much time as everything else had taken in total. The hinges are weak and the metal bends so that the screw head slips through and won’t hold the screw in place. The manufacturer should insert a plug to hold these screws in place and based on the price that this unit costs, it shouldn’t be a hardship for the manufacturer. The last frustrating step took away all the good that I was feeling about the unit, but, admittedly, it does look good now that it’s finished. Not sure if I would recommend this or not.

TV stand looks great!
I got the Berlin Black TV Stand with Door. The only problem I had when assembling the TV stand is with the door. The hinge assembly was not hard but adjusting the door to be flush with the stand was a bit tricky.
The look of the TV stand is great! The legs are plastic and square, rather than round and metal looking like shown in the picture. The base pieces of the stand use cam locks to securely connect each piece. Very sturdy and spacious for my 32" TV, plus modem and router(somewhat hidden behind the TV).

Short tv stand for kids room
I bought this for my sons room. They are very young and wanted to make sure they had a safe tv stand to put their tv on. The instructions were easy to read but the pictures were a little misleading when I thought they left the item upside down when in the picture they turned it. I would put extra glue on it and make sure you had a hammer to put it together better. The stand is short which is what I wanted and not to wide. We placed a 18 inch old school tv on it and it fit
As long as the tv stand is a little way from the wall. If you have infants or toddlers like I do I would recommend placing a lock on the door. It slams shut when opened a little. Overall I am happy with the purchase.
