Whalen Media Fireplace
The fireplace console arrived undamaged, was relatively easy to assemble and performs as advertised.
We have two minor complaints.
It would have been helpful to have had the model in the store operating so the feaux fire could be seen. I had expected a bit more realistic logs rather than the profile cutout with the light behind. However, the effect is still warming.
At purchase the delivery date was promised before Christmas. However, the next day we were notified that the date had been changed to Dec. 31st! When we tried to track the shipment, the tracking no. was "unrecognized " . When we attempted to contact the shipper we were unable to get through.
However, all turned out well when, to our surprise the shipment arrived as originally promised two days before Christmas which gave us just enough time to assemble the console, TV and sound bar in time for our guests on Christmas!

This media fireplace console was the best investment I have ever made. it is very sturdy and rich looking, it will last for years to come. instructions were simple and easy to follow. I am a 75 year old woman and I put it together by myself in 2 1/2 hrs. The bottom part came preassembled so all I had to do was put the top together. If you can, pay the extra $20 for the freight company to bring it into your home as it is a very large and heavy box. I am completely thrilled with it.

Whalen Fireplace Console
The console needs some assembly but not much. It's great to look at! We got it in less than a week, which was unexpected. All in all, we like the console.

Nice sturdy fireplace
We bought this in 11/15 missing some hardware but they sent it quickley. The unit has a remote works well to heat our living room, and looks nice. If you can use a phillips screwdriver you can put it together, about 6-8 pieces less than an hour with two people. built a lot better than most wal-mart furniture and has a good amount of storage. Its a good fireplace and would recommend to anyone.
