Easy to Assemble
I have been looking for something like this for a very long time and now I finally found it!
For someone that likes to do-it-yourself and likes to do projects, it is an easy assemble.
The two doors have adjustable shelves and are roomy for DVD's, CD's or whatever you may want to put in them. Below the top shelf there is room for cable box, DVD player or whatever you use with the t.v. It has an opening in the middle for the cables and wires, so they are neatly out of sight. It makes for a very attractive addition in my living room and keeps everything I need in entertainment, in one place. I think it would also be ideal in a large bedroom.
The Carson Fireplace T.V. Console comes in Cherry & Black wood tone finish. You can use the fireplace with or without heat. It has a 1,400 W/ 4,600 BTUs which is enough to heat up a 400 sq. ft. room. The LED lights in the fireplace state they have up to 50,000 hours of light. It is 63.07" long, 17.60" wide and 24.29" high. Information/Instruction booklet states that it can accommodate most flat panel t.v.s up to 70" and 135 lbs. max. The second shelf can hold up to 30 lbs. max. And the inside the cabinet doors shelf can hold up to 10 lbs. The bottom of the cabinet, up to 15 lbs.
It comes ready to assemble with drawings to show you step-by-step how to put it together. The pieces are lettered and the hardware is numbered to help you. The also give you their phone number, fax number and address if you need assistance. You can also go to their website to view a video on assembling the stand. When assembled, it is heavy.
It produces heat very fast and I found the fan to be relatively quiet and with the fireplace lit, it's very nice on a chilly night.
Just remember that with most particle board furniture, you want to use only furniture polish on them to clean them.

Nice and Cozy!
First off this is a very heavy item you really need 2 physically fit people to bring this shipment inside.
When you're ready to begin assembling the console all of the parts will be labeled for you, but you will need a phillips screw driver and a hammer. I would suggest organizing and grouping your pieces, it will help the process.
Now I will be honest this project will take some time, patience, and motivation. In my case I am about 7 months pregnant so it may have been harder for me in my current condition. Nevertheless, I was able to preserver and it was very gratifying to see the end result.
This console has some really nice features I have listed a few for you:
· The look of the console is nice and elegant, it brings a sense of serenity into my bedroom.
· The fireplace is beautiful, very soothing and relaxing to watch...almost mesmerizing.
· You have two options for heat high or low.
· If you just want to stare at fire you have the option of using the visual effect, no heat.
· I have a 50 inch t.v. sitting on top and it sits very nicely.
A couple of things I'm not too fond of:
· The particle board, you will not be able to place anything wet on top or it will bubble up.
· With that said you will need to be cautious while assembling or you can easily damage your product.
· There are several smaller sections of board which makes assembly more time consuming.
Other than that this beautiful piece and I really hope it last for a good while.

Great TV Console & Fireplace
received this item from the Walmart Spark Review Program for no compensation - just an honest review.
This arrived in a big heavy 3’ cube-shaped box, weighing around 125 lbs. All the parts are wrapped securely, so nothing was damaged. The fireplace insert comes in a separate cardboard box inside, and about 2 dozen wood pieces, along with another box with screws, and other attachment parts. You will need a good phillips screwdriver and hammer of your own to build this over around 4-6 hours, depending upon your skill level. All the parts (including screws & dowels in mini-bags) come nicely marked with stickers so you know what to do at all times based upon the easy-to-follow directions. The only tricky part was the black thin piece of wood that goes over the fireplace top – you have to make sure to have this correct to put it all together properly. Just make sure to lay out all your wood pieces exactly as pictured in the directions for easiest construction – and do it on a carpeted surface so you don’t scratch up the cherry and black laminated wood pieces. You build the Carson Fireplace TV Console upside down, and flip it over when done. The fireplace looks realistic when done and turned on. There is no remote control – only 2 switches. One controls the flame image - it features an LED light source boasting up to 50,000 hours of life. The Second whether you want heat to blow or not. It will heat a 40’x40’ area. It is amazing that the 65” wide Fireplace TV Console came in the box it did – but – each level of the item has 3 pieces that join together to get to full width. The Carson Fireplace TV Console has a left and right side cabinet on the bottom, each with a separate door, and an adjustable shelf – great for storing items. Would’ve been nice for the manufacturer to include some holes or a slit to allow cord access in these areas – but that doesn’t happen. The top shelf of the Carson Fireplace TV Console stores your TV, while the second shelf allows you to insert dvd players, blue ray, vcrs, cable/dish boxes, etc. My stereo receiver didn’t fit as it was too tall (the space is around 4”).
Overall – I highly recommend the Carson Fireplace TV Console. Once you get the unwieldly box inside and unpacked – it was fairly easy to construct – with no pieces by themselves too big or cumbersome. It looks great – the console and the fireplace – both!! The heat source is warm, quiet, and comforting as well. For the price point at Walmart – you can’t get a faux fireplace and tv console for twice the price at other stores!

BEAUTIFUL CONSOLE & KEEPS MY ROOM NICE AND WARM
This arrived in a big thick box, weighing about 110 lbs, and packed/wrapped very securely, so nothing was damaged. All the wood pieces, (about 25) are alphabetized, A- Y-no Z, but 2 J's, so that helped putting together :-) You're going to need a Phillips screwdriver though, to screw in over 100 screws, bolts, camlocks, hinges, etc. (a 4mm hex key is included for some parts). A hammer (or something hard), will also be needed, to tap in tiny foot pads on bottom. It took us more than a few hours to put together, because I'm getting old, and moving much slower, but it makes my room look so much cozier now (cats love it, too :-), and the heater works great! There's only one temp. setting, but we could feel the heat coming out real well right away, and kept my room very warm all night, just right (been dipping into the low 40's out here in S CA desert :-) I would mention that unless you want a few scratches on this (like what happened to us), make sure you put it together on a complete, large carpeted area. Some of the wood pieces are big, and the way directions are, you start from top pieces, going upside down, so when you're done, try and have a strong family, or friend, to help flip over (very heavy). It's not the best quality wood, but I just colored over scratches with furniture marker, and you can't tell from a distance :-) I think it's a beautiful piece of furniture, the deep reds blended with the blacks, look so good, and the fire almost looks real :-) Not sure what the electric bill will be with 1400 watts (our utilities are included in rent), but at least we don't have to add more smoke to the air, like our neighbors' firewood burning across the countryside. I love fireplaces, but having severe Emphysema, the smoke kind of makes it harder to breathe. This also has a protective thermostat limiter inside heater, so in case it should ever over heat, it will shut off automatically, and you won't have to worry about the place burning down. The 3 prong cord is six feet and instructions advise to not use any extension cords. There are 2 large bottom cabinets, each with a shelf that you can raise or lower, and room in between to store a dvd/game player, dvd's, cds, books, magazines, blankets, clothes, or whatever you want to put there :-) Our flat screen blew a few months back, but our old Trutech (in pic) is still working well, and it's 5 years older than flat screen :-) Most fireplace inserts, like the one in this console, cost $400 and up, so for just under $500, this sweet 6 foot long console with shelves, and storage is a good deal. I suppose if you want better quality wood, you will have to pay a lot more, so I would definitely recommend this. Everything just keeps going up and up doesn't it. Thank you Walmart for helping to keep it down and more affordable:-)
