Beautiful TV Stand!!!!
I am truly amazed of how beautiful this Better Homes tv stand is :) Let me begin with saying the packaging it came in was excellent...super well sealed...but very very heavy...The ups guy had to come into my home...he even said it was so heavy lol...not one scratch was on the wood...This tv stand is 100% real wood!!! There is only a little assembly required...but you do need a second person to help you...my husband and I assembled it in 30mins...easy instructions...everything was labeled...not complicated at all...The tv stand states it's for a tv up to 50 inches...but our tv is 55 inches and it fit perfectly...our printer fit quite well...so did our cable box...It even has a drawer...I just love the rustic dark wood...Better Homes out did themselves with this great TV stand....I totally recommend it :) Looks so beautiful in my living room!

Sturdy and Rustic
I am very happy with this TV stand, the look is very rustic with a touch of class, it is a great size and very sturdy, and it was not difficult to put together, I did it by myself in about 35 min, but a second pair of hands would have been helpful, the only thing you will need is a screw driver, it comes with everything else, and the instructions were easy to follow. Please note that this is a heavy piece (around 90 lb's) and it arrives in a very large box so you may want someone to help you with getting the box in the house, and I would recommend building it in the place that you will be putting it so you do not have to carry it up or down any stairs. I put this stand in my boys room because they needed something for there TV, movies and video games, but it is definitely nice enough to go in a living room or formal room. I only have one con and it is the big weight limit warning sticker that is stuck right on top of the stand, it looks horrible and is not easy to get off, I am assuming they put it there thinking you would be covering it up with a TV but with the way most flat screens sit you could still see it, so be ready with a wet rag or something to help with getting off the adhesive.

Ideal quality piece! Makeover for any room!
This is really, really nice!!! Prior to this, we had a small, cheap little tv stand for our electronics. It didn’t bother me much; plus I didn’t want something that would block the heat-register in our living room. But this stand just put it to shame. This has a nice open-back style that doesn’t block the heat but also has center slots to guide all your wires/cords through. We have our TV mounted on our wall, with this stand centered below it. It looks amazing! It really created a major focal point in our room. It makes everything look sleek, clean, organized and just ties the whole room together. It looks really sharp!
I love that it’s made of durable wood and inset metal on the sides. It came in 6 pieces: the topper (with drawer), the back of the unit, 2 shelves and 2 “X” sides. My husband and I put it together in about 15 minutes with a screwdriver and the included allen wrench. The topper to it (that contains the flush drawer) was a smidgen tight putting on, but we got it. I was really surprised and thankful that we didn’t have to install the drawer. It was already assembled and ready to go. We’ve never owned a nicer piece and I honestly don’t anticipate ever replacing it with something else. This is a really versatile piece too…it could double as a (fancy) shoe bench and storage….or mount a mirror just above it to create a vanity-look. I’m going to try to get one for my daughter’s room soon. She needs a TV stand and shelving for her things. Anyway, I absolutely love it and highly recommend!

Beautiful, solid TV stand
This arrived via UPS and was MUCH heavier than I expected. It had a 75+ lb. label on it. I tried, but it was too long for me to pick up and balance well by myself. I had to wait for my son-in-law to stop over and tote it in for me. I'm really glad I didn't have to worry about weather on the day it arrived! If you plan to order online please be aware that you may need someone to help you lift it, and you may want to watch the weather forecast if it is going to be outside for any amount of time prior to being able to lift it into the house.
This stand took less than 30 minutes to put together with usual life interruptions. It would have gone faster if not for kids and grandkids. It has very easy assembly. It did take two of us to lift it up and set it on the pegs for the base, but it wasn't a difficult task.
The stand feels solid with no wiggle, and looks beautiful. There is a drawer that doesn't stand out and is quite discreet where you can store paperwork, remotes or other items you want to keep with your set up. I like this feature as it isn't obvious to little prying fingers so it should be somewhat child-safe. The drawer slides open and there isn't any obvious latches or handles on it to give the compartment away. I didn't notice it myself until my husband pointed it out to me.
We easily set our TV, DVD player and cable box on the stand, and will add our Wii soon. I added a cloth under my TV as I don't want to scratch the finish, but it seems durable. There were no marks, mars or scratches anywhere on our unit. I expect this to last us for many years to come! My girlfriend saw a picture of ours and intends to go buy herself one too!

Excellent Flat Screen TV Stand!
I received my beautiful Better Homes and Gardens Dark Oak Preston Park Rustic TV Stand for Televisions up to 50" TVs a few weeks ago now, and let me just say this is a TV Stand that's very well manufactured. The weight of this TV Stand is under a 100lbs. I found this out when I had bring it into the house from off the porch when it was delivered. And if you have some spare time in your schedule this TV Stand is a well worth project to put together to show off its beauty. This Betters and Gardens TV Stand is in my bedroom to show off my new 43" Flat Screen Smart TV. Also, what I love about this TV Stand is the open shelves which I place my TV box receiver on and other items to show off with its opened shelves. The Rustic Oak finish is great and the design is even greater. So if you're looking for a excellent piece of new furniture to go along with your other pieces of furniture this TV Stand is an great addition.
