Beautiful stand!!.
Beautiful stand!! If you carefully follow the instructions it's not too difficult to put together. I put it all together perfectly ONE time which is unusual for me XD I always put ONE thing on the wrong way and end up having to take everything a part but this time I did it perfectly. One unfortunate event was that there are two optional large screws you can screw into the top of the back of the stand. I screwed one in TOO much and it went straight through the board. Luckily it's not visible since it was inside of the stand. I just covered it with tape . :) I'm very happy with the stand it's much taller than my last one and it's just beautiful I'm super pleased!!

Incomplete assembly manual
The parts all come in individual packages and are clearly numbered, and were all there. Assembly was a bit tough because of the manual. The first pages are listing of all the parts. Then it said step 2. We assumed step 1 was the parts inventory, so we proceeded to step 2. Something seemed wrong. Looked at the manual again, steps 5 and 6 were also missing, they were just blank pages. We called the company and got a copy emailed to us. They were very helpful. Only problem was because step 1 was omittted from the manual, two of the wooden dowels snapped when we had to take it apart to do step one. SOOO, off to the hardware to buy new dowels and put the unit together again. Added another 2 hours to the assembly process and the worry about whether or not it would go together properly. Everything is fine now, and it looks nice. My word of advice: make sure you check the assembly manual for all the steps, 1 through 13 before you assemble this stand.

good tv stand
Got it to replace a shorter stand and serves that purpose well. May have been nicer to have glass door cover top shelf too, but still ok. I guess top shelf was designed to hold a small speaker or radio. Back of cabinet is not enclosed, so I used a black curtain thumb tacked to the back. Put adhesive furniture sliders on bottom to make the cabinet easier to move. It's holding a 55 pound 47" lcd tv without any problem. I purchased support straps to prevent tip over, but have not used them since the tv seems safe and stable where it is, tucked in a corner.
