Beautiful and easy setup.
The fireplace tv came 90% set up. We put this together in approx 45 mins, unpacked and together. Was put together last night. One of the storage doors was cracked (possibly during packaging) and I emailed Whalen for new door.

Whalen Media Fireplace Console Rustic Brown
Looks fantastic when it is put together. Very heavy box arriving, lots of packing material, but then the unit did not have a scratch on it. Assembly was completed in under an hour. Our 50" flat screen fits perfectly. Flames are more realistic than any other I've seen. When done with assembly still had one of every screw left over. Guess this is the company's way of insuring that the buyer will be not have to worry about being shorted. Appreciated their assembly plans made it easier to go by their steps. Well worth the price. In fact bought the smaller version for the bedroom.

Love It
Delivery was delayed by a few days but I was able to arrange for a time of delivery when I was home. Assembly of the top portion took a bit longer than I anticipated but I was able to get it done in about an hour by myself. It looks wonderful and is a fantastic replacement to my 10 plus year old TV stand. The flames look realistic. The heater works great too however the only problem is that the remote does not work even though it came with a battery. I haven't tried replacing the battery yet. If it doesn't work then I'll contact the manufacturer. I say buy it. Great price. You will not be disappointed (unless the remote doesn't work.)

Absolutely Gorgeous
Very gorgeous fireplace. I purchased it for my mom bcus shes alwz cold an it looks so nice in her living room with her new flat screen she purchased. It cant be too hard to assemble because a 14 yr old put it together perfectly. And its very sturdy! Great buy!!!

Great fireplace, elegant and good value
I just received this yesterday. Took me and a friend about an hour to assemble. Assembly was easy. The packaging was good - no damage, which was a relief because I saw the Pilot people (the delivery company) roll this box out from its truck and drop it on the concrete as a means to get it out of the truck. Walmart should rethink using them. They didn't realize that I could see them when they pulled up.
The wood is darker than in the picture, but it's very nice. There are parts on the bottom and top of the box. The blower is quiet and not very forceful. I have a small living room (12 by 12) and it takes about 45 mins to heat it up. Flames are nice. The sides hold all of my DVDs just fine. For electronics, each compartment is a good size - holds my old DVD player and cable box and modem and is about 6" in height and 18" in width each. I am very happy with the product so far.
