TV Stand with Fireplace
I had a small problem with the delivery to my place but, the Fedex guy got it up 4 flights of stairs. My box arrived all taped up from falling apart in it's package. No instructions were found, which I was told I could send the whole thing back, but I kept working on it. I finally found the model number on the outside of the box, and was then able to get the instructions online. It took me 5 hours to complete putting it all together with the online instructions. The instructions were not clear, and after putting screws and pieces together backwards, I learned the hard way to get it right. Once that task was completed, I was proud of what I had built. Now my room has a romantic atmosphere with the TV Stand and fireplace. It fit right into my space. I have a few people who want one too after I got mine. I think it will be a big sale.

Two for one!
I read most of the reviews on this item and thought I'd give it a shot. I ordered the fireplace/Tv stand ship to site and had no problems when picking it up...the box was not that big but indeed about a 100 pounds. After waiting a few days and reading the instructions book I decided I was going to assemble the stand in reverse starting with the tv part A and turned it upside down on my bed and assembled up and I even turned the instruction book upside down and followed the diagrams it was actually not that bad...it took me about an 1 1/2 hours when I was done I had my tv stand upside down on my bed and had my nephew help me take it the other room where I put the heater in. It's not really heavy once assembled,However it's very sturdy. So far we're enjoying the stand heats up pretty good. I recommend this product.

GREAT DESIGN; TERRIBLE CONNECTIONS
THIS piece has a great potential. The design is good and the idea of the heater is great, but i found the construction method terrible. the first thing that broke was the support piece on the bottom. the rest is shaky. i think the other method of construction with the metal peg and round connector that makes one half turn and secures the peg is the best method. But i will use it. wont move it. just will not stand the stress. otherwise, i intend to enjoy it no matter what.

You will need patience...
We wanted a TV stand/Fireplace and this unit definitely fits the bill. It shipped very very quickly. Was delivered in just a few days via FedEx. Well packed and no noticeable handling damage. All of the parts are clearly labelled and the packaging was top rate. The main carton had inner cartons and the manufacturer uses boxes and styrofoam.
Now, like the tagline says, you will need a lot of patience. The instructions really do not give you detailed drawings. After a few tries, I just used common sense and concluded that any panel with a bullnose edge should be front facing. The very bottom brace should be installed to hide the hardware. Towards the end of the build, the mantel installation is very difficult because of very little clearance underneath. Make sure you have a shorter phillips screwdriver on hand; a cordless drill won't fit.
The saying "Measure twice, cut once" is the best way to handle this build. Instead of using their hardware to secure the top, I had drilled some holes from above and used wood screws. I used a countersink bit and painted the screw heads with the included touch up paint. Works good for us since we are using the top for our 42" TV.
The shelves and compartments are outstanding. Oh by the way, when you go to install the shelf pins, expect to open the holes a little or just tap the shelf pins in place. I used one of the included plastic connectors as a mandrel. The fireplace is awesome. Looks great. Works really well. It even has little flashing lights on the bottom where the grille is which simulates embers below the wood grate.
The unit is very solid and quite heavy. Does not protrude too far from a wall. The shelf just under the mantel even comes with a trap door for wires; really cool. If the manufacturer could do a little better with illustrations and enlarge the shelf pin holes, they would get 5 stars. We shopped for an electric fireplace and this is just a tremendous value. We saw units that were no where near this quality for twice the amount of money.

Love It!
This is one of my best purchases! I have a mobile home with a Florida room attached and the Florida room is always cold but the trailer gets too hot with the heat on. The electric fireplace puts out enough heat to make the Florida room toasted and since heat rises it also keeps the trailer nice and warm. I would definitely recommend this product. It was fairly easy to put together once we found the instructions on line as they were not included in the box.
