It looks good but it is poorly made
I would have liked for someone to have told me that the delivery company does not deliver to your door. I live on the 7th Floor and the delivery man expected my 5 feet, 125 pound daughter with a heart condition to push a 60 pound TV stand onto the elevator and into my apartment. But when my daughter refused the delivery, told them to take it back and took out her phone to call Walmart, then the delivery man brought it up to my apartment.
The Instructons are inadequate, you can't tell if you are working with the front or the back. The grooves in the wood panel used to attach the glass top is made on the wrong side of the wood panel. I called the manufactures about 6 times before I spoke to someone who told me that there's a 6 month wait for parts and it would be easier for me to send it back to Walmart. After spending almost 2 hours putting it together who wants to take it apart, try to fit it back in the box, then carry it to the post office and have to pay to send it back. I tried scraping out a groove into the correct side of the wood panel but the panel is actually pieces that look like saw dust and it falls apart. I had to do it anyway and use wood glue and a prayer. The screws that attach the glass top to the damaged panel are too short and they fall off, so I had to put crazy glue in the nut. (so far they didn't fall off) The fireplace does not fit flush against the cabinet as the instructions say it should so I can not mount it to the inside of the cabinet. The remote for my TV also turns on the fireplace. It's a pain when you really don't want it on. I give this TV stand 1 star and that is only because it looks pretty.

Truly love
Received this for Christmas from my husband and I love it! It looks amazing in my living room. The heater works amazing and our kids love that it looks like a real fire place.

not so bad
As the title suggests this is not so bad, the only issue we have found is that this unit is highly susceptible to randomly turning on and off depending on the type of TV you have. Vizio brand TVs apparently work on the same frequency as far as the remote. So if you hit mute on your TV remote, the heater portion turns on. Nice find, but overall an annoyance olif its bit intended.
