its huge
I just built and set it up, all av equipment installed and I love this thing. It took 4 hours to build but looks great. The lip on the top piece has a bit of a gap but you can't really tell to much. I am happy with it. BTW it weighs 200 pounds! Love it

The worst!!
This is by far the worst excuse for a cabinet that I have ever made the mistake of ordering...... bar none! It took a week to arrive and all appeared good until I opened the box to discover that the top of the unit was placed the closest to the outer packing cardboard making it a prime target for any damage to occur. They could easily have turned it over to have the underside exposed, but they didn't. The first thing I discovered was a 2"x 8" scrape that had completely removed the fake wood grain paper (paint?) covering the particle board that the unit is made of. The particle board itself is of the lowest density made....not MDF or anything of dense construction.
The entire rear of the cabinet is made from a sheet of 1/8" cardboard.....yes...cardboard!
The finish on the "wood" can easily be scraped off of the unit with your fingernail....literally.
I have purchased some inexpensive furniture in the past with artificial wood grain that was actually not badly made and lasted for several years before beginning to show it's true quality, but the quality of this unit can be seen within the first minute or two that you see and use it....and don't dare slide anything across the top of the unit, even if it is light and has protective feet. It will destroy the finish on this in a heartbeat.
I attempted to upload high quality images with this, but Walmart only allows about 10 seconds for an upload and unless you're on cable it will time out before the photo loads. Unfortunately I live in a remote lake area that doesn't offer high speed access. I lowered the quality and size of these to allow me to at least post something to see. They should give you an idea though.
It's a shame... the looks of this unit are great and if the construction was of even halfway decent quality it would be a nice addition to any large screen TV and stereo setup, but I think anyone purchasing this would be greatly disappointed with it within a month or so...or as soon as the first scrapes and missing finish began to appear.
90 lbs total weight bearing is also a poor rating. I had planned on putting my tube type stereo amps on top for cooling in addition to a 35 lb TV, but even at 40lbs each for the amplifiers this unit would not support them. That's saying a lot about the quality of the particle board used for the construction. Even 1/2" plywood will support more than that!
My mistake... I should have known better or looked at one in a store before ordering.

Overall I'm very happy with this credenza. It was fairly easy to assemble and it looks great in my living room.
Be advised that some wider components will not clear the hinges which protrude about 1/2" or so. There is plenty of depth inside, so to clear the hinges I had to remove the two pins that support the front of the shelf, lower the front of the shelf, slide my receiver up and in, then lift the front of the shelf and re-insert the pins.
Also, if you have components with many connections you may not want to nail on the soft back panel. Sure it has access holes in it, but only big enough to fish cables through. So unless your cables are long enough to come through the back panel and out the front of the credenza allowing you access to hook up/plug in, think twice about nailing that back panel on. Another option would be to cut larger access holes on your own, and it is soft enough to cut with a decent box opener. This is what I had to do and it worked quite well.
